Here Kitty Kitty

I had written a post about how cool the Korkfisshe cat toys that I knit for Rue are. It talked about how cool it is to have a wine cork as the filling rather than stuffing and it talked about playing with my new kitty. Then I accidentally deleted it. At this point, it has taken me longer to write about them than it has to knit them. So here are some pretty pictures that Hubby took of our new companion. 

I made these from scrap cotton and they are not very compelling, but you can find a picture of them on my project page if you are really curious about mine in particular.

Welcome Rue!

I'd like to welcome our newest family member Rue!

We adopted Rue from the NYC ACC, and she has instantly taken to our family. The moment we opened the carrier at home she was out and curious. She was exploring our apartment and begging for affection. She has been patient with the girls, playful with Hubby and cuddly with me. I couldn't be happier!
