Colour

I haven't been writing very much this summer. The sad thing is that I haven't been doing much knitting either. I do have a very cute and colorful video to share.

Don't you just want to hug a panda now? I love him for his snoozer-head ways.

I love NSF because I just received this video in my work email:

Bert and Ernie's Great Adventures

Did you know that Bert and Ernie are living it up in claymation? I had heard, but I haven't gotten to see any of their new adventures. Here is a short peek at their new shenanigans and how it all happens.

Pingu and the Knitting Machine

I am having more fun than any reasonable adult should playing games with friends tonight. Through the magic of technology, I am able to post this anyway. I'm certain my night is full of zombies, munchkins, dice and drinks, but I have something special for you too.

Ok, so maybe that wasn't as exciting as a zombie apocalypse. You'll just have to come over and play games with me next time ;). (It was pretty cute though.)

Superman Classic

I really like the behind the scenes peek at this short superman story.

The Cyclotrope

In my stuffy congested haze, I just realized that I haven't blogged yet today. I haven't even thought about blogging. So instead of the originally planned post, I have some old school animation for you.  Hopefully my brain will be less clogged tomorrow and I'll be able to give you something with some more content (it won't be nearly as cute as this though.)

Amigurumi is Simple

I am still out of town (and having a blast) at PAX, so I have another video for you today.

Via Dr Chop Suey Knits

I could barely crochet an elephant ear, but this makes Amigurumi look so easy. Have you made both knitted and crocheted toys? Do you have a preference? The toys are just so cute I'm certain that I'll learn how to do it eventually, but for now there are plenty of adorable things for me to knit.

One Rat Short

This is a fantastic animation of one rat's evening adventure.

When I saw this I thought immediately of The Secret of NIMH. I saw the cartoon a couple times, but I had a large picture book with images from the movie that I would read over and over again. One night I had a nightmare about the dad mouse escaping from the lab. It is, no question, my  most memorable nightmare. I can still recall the anxiety and urgency that I felt when I woke up. I wouldn't say the dream was scaring, but I did start reading other books.

The Brick Thief

It is the middle of the week, the weather is fantastic, and I just got home from a wonderful meetup, so I would like to share something playful with you.
